This page introduces code without any prior context, starting from scratch, out of the void. (That's why this page is named void: to express an idea of nothing.) I expect format here to be a log that grows, with new parts at the end, in chronological order. Then I'll need sub-pages later, when it gets big.
What's the theme? Suppose you have no other code for reference, but need some effect, so you start from scratch. That's how I present sample code below. But I might still link related material elsewhere; we'll just pretend you never look elsewhere.
